Picknick in the Vondelpark

Last Saturday we had our first truly warm spring day and aunty Elle had the best idea bringing a bunch of friends together for a picknick in the Vondelpark which was packed with people who had the same idea but it was great no less because my big friend Illya was over from berlin with his parents and even uncle Paul came by and aunty Karen and we had a great time catching up and bonding over some soccer Illya and I ;-)

Nothing to play with

Yeah, it's an ongoing hunger for new toys that drags me through life, so last time I was at the grandparents their friend 'grandma Lenie' gave me this awesome Playmobil fortress! (and giving mom something to compete with ;-)

Hanami in Amsterdam

Mom's got to show of the annual cherry blossoms along the canal around the corner from our house. It reminds her of the wonderful time she had in Japan... now that we're all so worried about that pretty nation and our friends Kio and Tai and their mom and dad over there ....

Sun set at the sea side

Oh yes and here's some lovely pics of a surprise trip we made to Katwijk aan Zee on a Saturday afternoon in late March. After a sunny afternoon in the Artis zoo we jumped in 'uncle' Paul's car for a lovely sunset dinner at this great place called Paal 14. All the sun, sea wind and running around in the sand made me pretty hungry and all in all I got to stay up super late *^_^*

I love sleepovers

it's been a while, in fact it was early march when mom had a birthday party and I got to sleep over at my big friend Job but here's some pics... (you can tell mom's falling behind on my blog ;-)
