Boys just wanna have fun

Here are some recent pics of some good ol' fun I've been having with the family and the boys. At Grandpa's birthday, the pool, with the gang from the street on the pancake boat for Bas's birthday, me and my pals from school Kit and Duco learning Michael Jackson dance moves on the Wii, and today my big bro dropped by after school... that was the best of course... just hanging out, glued to his side ;-)

Art Zuid 2013

We love art and especially when there are art works that I am allowed to climb in so we never miss the bi-annual International Sculpture Route 'Art Zuid' in Amsterdam, which is just around the corner from where we live. This Saturday we went with my best pal from school Duco and it was awesome, the art got us real wild and excited!

Vive la France

In my may holiday we made a big trip to the south of France again with Paul, this time we stayed in a beautiful old house near Monpazier in the Perigord Noir... and awesome part of France if you ask me because they do not only have the amazing castles and very vintage villages, but here they also have prehistoric caves and stuff! It's the cradle of European civilization! Anyhow, my pal Bas was also vacationing in that area so we visited them on the day we arrived (after a very very long drive, all through the night), which was their last. Then we went on to our own super cute vintage country house, set up the pool and chilled out while getting some much needed sun-vitamins! The following week we adventured the surroundings visiting awesome castles and ancient caves (no pictures allowed!) and a famous aquarium with amazing fish and reptiles like a giant anaconda snake (asleep in the corner) and golden piranha's. The prehistoric rocks were awesome but all the touring and touristing also made me really tired so I was happy to hang around the house and puddle in the pool as well. Here are some pics!

Bithday bashes

It's been a crazy ride this whole birthday week! First we spend the weekend at the grandparents in riverland which was super cosy because mom also stayed over... but then at my family birthday party I got sick. On the way home I puked all over the car and myself, it was yuk! The good thing though is that I got to stay home on monday and tuesday. then wednesday, on my birthday, we had the school play and I performed twice. Back home we did the cake thing and of course the new Wii game thing ;-)
Thursday was awesome too because I had these wicked home made finger-spook treats for my classmates and after school my big brother Nolan came over and we played for a couple of hours while the moms chatted away in the garden. And then this last sunday it was time for my party. We decided to stay home and throw a 'wild' garden party. It was a great day although things got really wild at times... we collected wild animals in the inner garden, build lego heroes, dug up dinosaur bones together, and danced to my favorite song: Michael Jackson's Thriller. Mom is still recovering but I had the best of times!

It's official: I'm 6!

Where was I?

Ok so the blog is getting more and more behind... here's a quick update before I can post the really big news for today. As you can tell I'm getting really good at this Wii game, not to say I'm getting quite addicted. And my hair was getting really too long so with the first sun beams I got a good cut which upped my cute factor with at least 10 points. Then my best pal from school Duco stayed over for a weekend _ it was awesome! And we went to Apenheul on a really nice sunny Sunday and I immediately reconnected with my inner Monkey. Oh and Paul got me a new bed at his place, how sweet is that? ;-)
