The big 5!

Sooooo I finally turned 5 this week and I'm a real big boy now! I had a awesome time, first at the grandparents who threw a surprise party for me and two days later my real birthday. Mom and I made real pretty treats for all the kids in school (21 TinTin pirate ships) and even though I was a bit nervous I had such a cool day. Of course it started real early when I discovered my present in the living room (got my very own iPod Touch, the spoiled little rascal I am ;-) and after a sweet day in school mom and dad picked me up and we had some friends dropping by for cake. I got a lot of cool Birthday cards in the mail and some awesome new Lego and dad even made me a life size Ninja Go helmet! My official party is still to come so we're not done with the visual update here. We're expecting to cut some more cake this saturday and next week I'll be taking a bunch of my friends out sailing on a big pirate pancake ship in the big Amsterdam river IJ! (mom and I checked out the other day, and it's clear: I am the grandson of a captain for sure!) ps. the usual 5 year Deven photo collage will have to wait until mom's laptop is fixed, it's the only computer with Photoshop... and it crashed! oeps.... ;-)

Sneak Preview my new room!

Oh we're so excited! Moms sweet friends Stef & Joren presented their design for my new room today - well and mom's new office and stuff - but my room was mocked up in 3D, including the furniture! Have a peek.. we are so high about it. Our mini house is going to be maxi cool ;-)

Cover model

I'm grumpily starring in the Kidscase campagne shot by Annemarieke van Drimmelen for my third season, in fact the grumpiest picture made it to the cover of the brochure. It was all acting of course, because this other red haired dude called Sant didn't want to model so I played along with him and then we had good fun being the moody lads ;-)
