Indian Summer of 2013

When the long summer holiday ended and I started school in 3rd grade ***exciting!!*** that didn't mean summer was over. Quite the contrary in fact! Here are some pics of September, when we took to long walks in forests and dunes, climbing 'hunebeds', camping at Bas's grandparents, teaching mom to play chess, eating Japanese, Chinese and Surinam foods, rubbing shoulders with my wild life hero Freek in Artis and a new hairdo :-)

Summer of 2013

Yes it took way too long but take it that we've been busy with a lot of fun. So here's the summer update. The summer was hot and well... really summer-ish. In short: we didn't go anywhere and that was exactly what I wanted: stay home with Monkey, sleep in my own bed, have mom all to myself (Paul was working all summer) and go swimming everywhere every day!!! Monnickendam, Jisp, Muiderberg, Vinkeveen, Amsterdamse Bos, Waal, if there was water, I was in it. Oh and we went to Artis with grandma and grandpa, to Nemo with Nolan, and mom and I went to Aviodrome and Muiderslot... and well, it was the best summer ever. And there is more in next post - the 'back to school' part!
ps. Oh yeah and I lost a bunch of teeth! One went down swimming in the harbor in Vinkeveen...

Boys just wanna have fun

Here are some recent pics of some good ol' fun I've been having with the family and the boys. At Grandpa's birthday, the pool, with the gang from the street on the pancake boat for Bas's birthday, me and my pals from school Kit and Duco learning Michael Jackson dance moves on the Wii, and today my big bro dropped by after school... that was the best of course... just hanging out, glued to his side ;-)

Art Zuid 2013

We love art and especially when there are art works that I am allowed to climb in so we never miss the bi-annual International Sculpture Route 'Art Zuid' in Amsterdam, which is just around the corner from where we live. This Saturday we went with my best pal from school Duco and it was awesome, the art got us real wild and excited!
